Know yourself, be excellent and stay excellent

In our search for overall success, we all know what we need to do, most of us know how to do it, …, but simply we don’t act.

Sales-people know they need to contact 5 people a day to arrange 1 meeting a day and for closing 2 deals a month.  Reality shows, we do not make these 5 daily contacts. In order to stay and keep fit, we need to exercise, we all know this, but despite all signals our body transmits, most of us do not exercise.  Many more illustration are living examples that we know what to do, how to do it, but simply not take action.

We do not translate our goals into daily actions, into eatable peaces, we do things and we hope we will achieve more or less our goals.

Real leaders understand that without these daily actions nothing or too few happen. After we understand better who we are, discover our real identity, recognize better our limitations and define our purpose, we need to take action, not only action, but massive action.

Unlocking our ‘TO DO’ button is the crucial step to obtain better and higher quality results.

The aim of training and coaching should be ‘why we need to do things’ and ’to take massive action’.  Most programs do not provide this and are limited to what‐to‐do topics.

Mostly, we do not translate our goals into daily actions, into eatable peaces, we do things and we hope we will achieve more or less our goals.

In order to have all the results and success we deserve in our life we need to turn ‘what to do’ or knowledge, ‘how to do’ or skills and competencies and ‘why to do’ or attitude into empowering habits. We need to turn these into things we do unconsciously. 

Practice is the key to excellence. The first time we learned skiing or whatever activity you love was a nightmare, but today we love it and we could not think of a live without this activity anymore.  We mastered it through practice. The more we exercise the better we become.  The more we practice leadership, the better we will act as a leader.
